• A:Answer You can add minutes by going on line to Tracfone if you are worried. However, I have run out of service and I have been able to add the time if it is within a day or so of service expiring. Any longer than that you will have to deal with customer service. I have been able to keep my number.

• A:Answer The Tracfone site states that you can bring your own phone. I have not done this, so I cannot say how complicated this will be. However, I can recommend the Tracfone as a basic plan. You get 60 minutes worth of phone calls, 60 minutes worth of texts and 60 minutes worth of data. I have used Tracfone services for 15 years. Unused minutes roll over.
