Untrue. Tracfone only sends a text to welcome you back AFTER you renew. They NEVER sends me a reminder text when my plan is about to run out. I actually like Tracfone but this one issue is VERY INCONVENIENT!!!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They will NOT remind you that your minutes are about to run out, NOR will they let you know that they have run out. I just spent hours with their tech support , and bought a new sim card, before the fourth tech told me I'd run out of minutes. I checked with them and they apologised but said they only send warnings when your SERVICE DAYS run out. I had an unlimited plan, and had naively assumed that it provided unlimited minutes.

Usually Tracfone sends several reminders, like a count down (e.g. 10 Days left..., 5 Days left..., 3 Days left..., 1 Day left of Service.). I hope this helps.
