I'm not sure about Couer d'Alene but I bought this card/ time for my mom and there are no hidden fees. You do have to buy a phone that works with the TracFone system then you buy the time and add it to your account. That's it! I bought the 1 year unlimited and we do not have to worry about a monthly bill or doing anything with the service/account for the year. It's wonderful!
