A:AnswerHi. This is Arianne from TracFone Wireless. Yes, it will use up your minutes. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello. This is Lea from TracFone Wireless. Thank you for your interest with our plans and services. Even before Verizon acquired us, we already have a PayGo plans. The 400 minutes includes text, talk and web. You can no longer use any service once your minutes is used up.
A:AnswerI'm not sure what you're wanting to do, but "moving your landline telephone number to a mobile phone is possible if you are staying in the same geographic area, but you should check with the wireless carrier you want to use to make sure the company can handle it."
Secondly, if you just want a cell phone just for when you're out and about, any phone service plan will do and no need to cancel your landline. I like the pay as I go plans because I don't text or call much either. It's just a safety net for me in case of emergencies. I still have a land line with an answering machine, old school they call it. If you want to go into a smart phone, check different companies out before you decide, they all have pros and cons, and so do various cellphones. Tracfone costs $20.00 every 3 months, so that's very reasonable. Their customer service is not great, and can be a serious problem if you'll need it to transfer over, so I'd recommend just get a secondary phone and give the people you contact the cell number if you want them to have it, that's easy enough. You'll have to be patient with the process, it can be daunting for 1st timers.
A:AnswerBased on my experience that seems to be the way it works with one caveat. Tracfone seems to now add the new plan first leaving the old one in rollover. If something goes wrong on their end your old plan and it's time, minutes, texts, and data will be toast. Record your balances before and after you apply this to your account and their chat may be able to fix it depending on the chat agent you get. Some are really good. Some are useless.
A:AnswerHi. This is Redje from TracFone Wireless. I would like to inform you that the SIM card is not transferable, you cannot put your SIM card to another device, maybe it will work as of now but sooner or later your service will be throttled. However, you can buy a new SIM and transfer your number including your minutes to your new SIM. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi. This is Katherine from TracFone Wireless. Unfortunately, you can't use the Tracfone card in your e-Talk phone. In order for you to know the compatible cards with that phone, you can try to check it from your carrier which is Verizon. Thank you.

A:AnswerIt depends on what you need. They offer a variety of options I rarely use my phone so I always have minutes/data/text left before my time is up so I only use the 90 day plan. You have to go through what they offer. As long as you keep your phone activated you can add whatever suits your needs and your balance will go forward to your new balance. Call tracfone to activate your minutes.
A:Answer60. Just like it says. You have 90 days to use up that 60 minutes or 60 texts. You can add more minutes or texts and more time if you wish. It's not 60 minutes per month. It's 60 minutes total.
A:AnswerHi. This is Lea from Tracfone Wireless. No. For smartphone devices, you should use unlimited plans. Basic plans would only work on featured phones. Thank you.
