I buy tracfone minutes - $19.99 / 60 minutes - I get across the board: data, text and minutes-this service is good for 3 months. Before the end of 3 months I buy another $19.99 card. I find this to be the cheapest way = about $7.00 a month. The $5.00 card gives me 1000 additional texts only. This does not provide any service.

I purchase a tracfone and there is no contract and I get 1500 data, 1500 minutes, and 1500 texts when I purchase it. The service is for a year. I purchase the phone through HSN or QVC. They have good sales.
