Mine was bought under the TracFone section of Best Buy. There is another phone carrier (don't remember the name off the top of my head), that sells the same make/model phone, but at a higher price. I am not familiar with their service, I have been with TracFone for about 5 years or so, so I went with what I know and the better price. WIth that said, I purchase a 365day plan, which I believe included 1500 minutes, 1500 text, and 1.5GB of data for about $110. It is for emergencies for my son when he goes to work, so I bought a plan that provides for a year's worth of activated service, you can always add minutes for an additional price. Hope this helps!
