• YES! This is exactly why I bought it, for a family member. It took a chat with Tracfone to convert (they needed his Safelink ph#, zip code and a few other things but was a breeze).... he now gets the 500 min (will drop to 350) and unlimited text/mms and 5 GB data a month here in FL. No issues other than poor battery life.
