• No. For this phone, tracfone is using Verizon carrier. And about using your own sim card, tracfone won't allow the use of any other SIM card other than the one they provide for this phone. Sorry but you are gonna have to settle with using the carrier they set up for this phone. Besides, Verizon's network provides better reception and network coverage nationwide.
