The MEATER Plus has a Bluetooth range of up to 165 feet in open air, thanks to the built-in signal repeater in its bamboo charging block. That said, your real-world range depends on where you’re cooking: • Gas or charcoal grills: Expect around 50–100 ft of reliable range (metal lids can slightly weaken the signal). • Ovens or smokers: Usually 25–50 ft if your kitchen walls are thick or made of brick/metal. • Open backyard cooking: You’ll often get the full 100+ ft without drop-outs. If you keep the charging block right next to your grill, you’ll get strong, consistent readings within 25 feet without a problem. So yes — it can easily handle 25 ft, 50 ft, and often much more.
