It is completely plastic. The plastic is very durable. Original had breakage issues because the plastic was too fragile and could not handle the weight and functions of the figure. This one feels solid and has posing that can match smaller figures.

I think it is made of plastic, but the only thing that would be metal can be the tiny screws for its arm or leg joint.
