“I believe Trend Micro Max security does not have a built-in firewall and depends on Windows built in firewall to provide protection against 'intruders'. This means Trend Micro cannot provide a full proof security. Isn't that true?”

• Trend micro has caught quite a few intruders on my electronic devices, which is something Norton Symantec could never do and caused the loss of previous computers. Trend Micro software has kept my devices clean and protected.

• Quite the contrary! Trend Micro’s firewall booster integrates Windows Firewall and then adds additional ssecurity, including botnet protection, intrusion detection, and network stream scan.

• While Trend Micro does not offer a firewall--if you have a wi-fi router, especially if it is Netgear or Arris, there is a firewall built into the firmware for those routers.
