Be careful if you want to file the state return. Yes, the cost is $25.00, but last year a third party charged me about $40.00 to "review" my state return before submitting it. There was a lot of negative controversy about this practice.

For TurboTax Deluxe 2025 it includes five federal e-files for free and one state preparation software download.The state e-file is sold separately for $25 per personal state return. You can print and mail your state return for free. Please note state e-file fees do not apply to all states.
