Thanks for your inquiry! The Turtle Beach Battle Buds are not interchangeable regarding which ear the Buds can be placed in. One Bud is specific to the Left Ear, and the other Bud is specific to the Right Ear. Please note that the removable Mic Boom is only able to be connected to the Left Ear Bud.
