When you can hear yourself in the headet that's called mic monitoring, and yes this headset has it. You can also adjust volume for chat and game separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The xbox party chat allows you to adjust the audio for each person in the party and adjust the game vs chat volumes. The game vs chat volume adjustment is one of the dials on the left ear. Hearing yourself is called side tone or mic monitoring. You can do that with these headphones but you have to use the Swarm II app. The Noise Gate also plays a role. That filters out noises like a fan that's running, or the crunching of a delightful snack while gaming so others don't hear it. You'll have to tinker with it all to get it how you like. It's a little finicky, but once you have it set you're good to go.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Stealth 700 Gen 3 for Xbox allows you to avoid shouting thanks to variable mic monitoring (or sidetone) which allows you to hear and adjust your voice through the headset while you chat. Additionally, the secondary wheel can be reassigned to control Game/Chat Mix, Variable Mic Monitoring, Bass & Treble Boost levels and Noise Gate. Best Regards!
