I have your information. The specifications are the same for the 55 and 65 inch stand. I obtained this information from LG Electronics Australia. The back plate can be attached to the stand in two positions. The plate can be anchored to the pole allowing either 1.5 inch or 3.3 inches from stand plate up to bottom of TV. I am considering an LG soundbar that is 2.5 inches high. The 3.3 inch position will work perfectly. You also can order directly from LG. You can get the owners manual for this stand online. It gives a great deal of information. This is where I was able to find the critical distance from stand plate up to bottom of tv screen. Just type model number along with owners manual online. I agree that this is important information.

When you look at the photos for the 4 different TVs on LG Australia, the stand for the two larger TVs causes the screen to tilt back. Many have complained about this. However, the stand for the 55 and 65 inch versions position the screen in a completely vertical position — which is good. Because there are no reviews yet for the stand, I can only assume that the photos correctly convey the vertical position of the stands.

We understand your inquiry about the clearance under your LG OLED G5 TV when using the SA-G5SN65 stand to determine suitable soundbar sizes. Based on the dimensions of the SA-G5SN65 stand, which has a height of 10.4 inches, the measurement from the ground to the bottom tip of your LG OLED G5 65" TV would likely be 10.4 inches. This measurement can help you determine what size soundbars might fit comfortably underneath. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tv-accessory-lg-oled-evo-g5-tv-stand-oled55g5wua-black/6638899.p?skuId=6638899 Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further.
