“I am purchasing a 55 inch tv. I have a TV stand that can hold up to a 65 inch TV that I would like it mounted on. Can this be done as only wall mounting is mentioned in the description. I also have an old TV will this be removed?”

Yes just look at the tv mount to be sure. go online or even look the mount up using amazon or bestbuy to get the specs.
