“Why do Total Members have to pay the $249 to install TVs as of Dec 2023? My membership just renewed in Dec, and when I went to purchase a 77" Samsung TV it was going to cost $249 for Mounting/Installation and $59 for moving/carry-away of my old TV.”

Best Buy was losing too much money on these installations mostly through people who were abusing the service, having multiple TVs installed at commercial sites like bars and restaurants, etc. But instead of modifying the program the simply removed this benefit/service from their Total program which is unfortunate. They should have been more creative here and done something like limit the number of TV installations per customer per year to two or something. Or, instead of making it free why not discount the installation price by 50% for Total members? Because of these and other changes I'm finding the Total membership less and less valuable each year and likely to cancel at my next renewal.

They were having multiple tv's install on commercial sites and best buy was loosing too much time and money. In my opinion best buy should make individuals purchase commercial membership and not take away from the individuals who purchased individual plans and had tv's install in their home. I am very disappointed in this change. Best buy dropped the ball on this one.
