“Are they waterproof or adequate for winter or to get wet if it rains?”

• I keep them outside on my gutters. All through winter rain and snow in Illinois. I do cover the control piece and plug with a large ziplock bag to keep moisture away from that part. Never any issues.

• I have left mine out in the Colorado snow in the front range. Not a lot of moisture here but held up 2 years in the snow so far and best buy protection plan covers them so ill pry trade in for new next year
