Multiple Twinkly light strings can be synchronized in groups, up to 4000 LED lights and up to 10 strings, under a strong Wi-Fi connection. No physical connection is needed, the whole process is managed by mapping the lights on the Twinkly app through your Wi-Fi network. Twinkly lights cannot be modified or cut.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They do not daisy chain unless you have the Twinkly Line, which allows out-of-the-box one extension, although there's hacks... You can group up to ten individual devices together in a group in the app though, without them being directly connected to each other. They will stay in sync in the app. You can in fact cut them but it's not really a good idea to do so and you would need to know what you're doing because there's a power-injection wire. Be aware though that if you cut a long string too short, you won't be able to map it as the mobile app will assume you've got part of the device hidden.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Twinkly lights can be virtually joined via the app to have multiple devices working together, creating extended lighting effects on the same or across objects at a distance. The number of devices you can group depends on your connectivity status. With a good connection, you can group up to 15-20 devices. We understand your desire to customize the length of your Twinkly lights. However, cutting Line or Flex is not possible, as it would invalidate the warranty and may cause irreparable damage. To achieve your desired effect, we suggest: FX Wizard's Drawing Mode: Customize the number of LEDs to illuminate, with "extra" LEDs remaining off. Concealing the "Extra" Length: Hide the extra length using black tape or within your installation to maintain the aesthetic. Let us know if you need further assistance!
