“There are times when the green light just continuously blinks when I’m charging my phone. I tried removing the device and putting it back and unplugging the charger for 60 secs. When I put the device back on it just blinks and doesn’t charge. Is it defect”

It’s not a defect. The phone must be in a precise location to charge and get solid green light. A thicker case could also interfere with charging.
