A:AnswerThe retinal feature has been out for a long time (2012 I think) so that’s not descriptive enough - check you r year number (top left by clicking on the Apple) this will help you get the right size. This model is for the touchbar model 13”. If I did not have the newer t model touch bar I’d buy the Tech 21 case. I have 4 MacBooks (pros) - 2 touch bars and 2 earlier models (2015 ) I have tech 21 Case’s on 2 and this case on 2. This case is nice but difficult to open - takes away the one handed function. The tech 21 is very protective but lower profile. This is the most productive case made for the current touchbar MBP right now.
