Yes, this speaker can be used even there’s no WI-Fi.

I connect it to my phone and ipod via blue tooth. Alexa wont work without wifi. But ipod music will play without a problem

To set it up, and if you want to use Alexa you need WiFi. After that, if your music is on your device without needing the internet/WiFi to play you don't need WiFi.

Yes. It also works on Bluetooth. Easy to set-up as picking a pair of headphones from your device.

Yes, this speaker can be used without WiFi. You can connect to it via Bluetooth.

Best to setup device using WiFi because it will need an update initially, but after initial setup it will connect via Bluetooth, you won’t be able to steam so you will need to play saved iTunes music or saved Amazon music from your devices.
