The Wonderboom 3 speakers (or even the Wonderboom 2 before that) have a 2-year warranty on them, so if it is brand new, it should definitely be working still. What happens when you connect the speaker to its charging cable, do you see the flashing power light on top of the speaker indicating it is getting charge? What you can do if you manage to power it on is try doing a reset of the speaker, by pressing the following 4 buttons at the same time (power button, Bluetooth button, volume up and volume down). If that doesn't solve your issue, and you have a new speaker, I would submit a warranty claim to get it replaced. - Mathieu from Logitech
