A:AnswerHi Fred, As far as I can tell, there's no difference between the two save for the different model numbers. The S-00157 is the model number that Amazon uses while the 984-000911 is what Ultimate Ears uses. They're both the graphite, or black color, so functionally they are exactly the same. Hope that this helped and that all is going well. Best Regards, Richard from Logitech/Ultimate Ears
A:AnswerHi Sam, your Megablast sounds like it needs a reset (warning: This procedure can permanently damage your speaker and should ONLY be used if the speaker won’t turn ON. Frequent use of the reset procedure is NOT recommended.) 1. Briefly press the “-“ (volume down), “+” (volume up) and small action/Bluetooth buttons at the same time (See picture below).2. Next, press the large power button on the speaker and it will turn back ON. Note: it may take a few moments for the speaker to reconnect to Alexa or repair to your mobile device. 3. After resetting the speaker, it’s highly RECOMMENDED that you use the Ultimate Ears app (available from the app stores for iOS and Android) to check for available firmware updates for your speaker. To do this, launch the app > tap on the settings icon > scroll to the bottom of the screen and press “Check for Updates.” (Depending on the version of the app you may need to disable Automatic Updates before you can manually check for updates. If prompted, follow the instructions to update your speaker’s firmware. I hope this information helps! A:AnswerHello Tomtom, the Megablast only has two buttons on top. Which are the power button and the bluetooth button. In front of the speaker there are only two buttons as well, volume up, and volume down.
A:AnswerHi Petey, yes with spotify connect you should be able too. You should also be able to do it Amazon music as well through the Alexa app. Hope that helps.

A:AnswerI use mine to listen to music via Bluetooth. The fidelity is superb. My daughter uses hers to listen to her TV. It is a great sound system that you can easily move.
A:AnswerHi MB, To turn on your speaker, press the power button (large hash button/LED on the top of the speaker) and wait for the LED to appear indicating the speaker is on. There will also be an audible bongo sound along with a voice prompt signifying the battery life. For further set up, here's a link that will show you how: https://support.ultimateears.com/en/guide/megablast/#one. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going well. A:AnswerHello Steve, the Megablast has a standard tripod thread built into the bottom of it, so all you have to do is unscrew the thread and it will mount to any standard tripod. -Weston with Logitech
A:AnswerHello, unfortunately no you cannot party up megablast with other Ultimate ears speakers. A megablast can pair with 8 other megablast over wifi though as long as it has the latest update.

A:AnswerHello, the Megablast features two 25mm tweeters, two 55mm active drivers and two 85 x 50mm passive radiators inside for a frequency range between 60Hz and 20kHz and a maximum sound level of 93dBC. It has 360-degree sound and it's an excellent performer in terms of sound quality. If you're looking for Hi-Res audio, I'd go with our Hyperboom speaker. It has a Max SPL (sound pressure level): 100 dBC, Frequency range: 45 Hz - 20 KHz, Drivers: 2 x 4.5” (114 mm) woofers + 2 x 1” (25 mm) tweeters + 2 x 3.5” (89 mm) x 7.5”(190 mm) passive radiators. Definitely a better choice for what you are looking for. Have a great day.
A:AnswerThe Megablast is rated as IP67 and will have no problem in a dusty environment. Currently the Megablast does not support YouTube Music by itself, so you would need to have your phone, tablet or computer connected to it via Bluetooth and the signal will depend completely on how well your device is connective to WiFi.
A:AnswerHi! The Megablast is the loudest out of the for main speakers we offer, aside from the Hyperboom. Here is a comparision of the speakers and how loud they are (scroll down towards the bottom of the page: https://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/wireless-speakers/megablast.html#:~:text=COMPARE%20%20%20%20%20%20%20HYPERBOOM,%20%20IP67%20%2010%20more%20rows%20
Hope that helps!
A:AnswerThe big thing about having Alexa on the Megablast is that you can take her anywhere within a 330ft range of your wi-fi at home! Unlike the standard Alexa devices, the Megablast doesn't need to be constantly plugged up in order to use Alexa. Also, the speaker is waterproof for up to 30 minutes in 5ft of water.
