How do I turn the bass down? null

You can’t on the unit but you should be able to on your phone.(or the device your playing from)

As far as I know there is no bass adjustment for this speaker.

You can't adjust the bass on this speaker.

I think you need to adjust from your phone.

I use this with my echo. The Alexa echo app has sound settings.
