Are these new (not refurbished)? Thanks! null

Received mine today. Someone clearly unboxed them, peeled the stickers, and shipped them in a bag with the box open so the speakers were floating around freely. They're also defective (or counterfeit if they got swapped somehow) and don't connect to each other. The speakers do not look used however due to the condition of the box I don't know that I would consider anything already opened as a new product.
