“Would it fit with wall studs 14 in. or 28 in. apart in center living room? If so, would you recommend 14 or 28 in studs? How bad it would be, if I remove an existed tv mount and mount to the same to an existing holes. Would you recommend it? Or new holes”

John, I'm afraid I can be of no help as the Geek Squad installers told me my current wall mount would not have to be replaced by the SONY mount. Thus, it was returned for credit.
