Yes, your GPS computed speed is shown on the display and recorded in the file. If you allow the screen to “time-out”, then, of course, you will no longer see the speed (or anything else) displayed.

Yes, you can have it display your speed as well as set speed warning if you exceed a preset speed.

Yes on the unit itself and at bottom of screen when plugged into computer or monitor.

Yes - if you have that feature turned on. Sometimes I like to look at it there than the regular speedometer.
