• You don’t mount it upside down. The bracket allows for rotation up to 360 degrees; so if you mount it on the dash, simply rotate the camera so it’s right-side up. There’s no need to mount it with the camera upside down.

• I'd assume so. I don't think there's dash cams that have rotating screens.
