Documentation on this camera is very poor to say the least! Not sure what you mean by “stationary mode”, but this camera continuously records one minute clips as long as it is turned on and in loop mode. If something were to hit your vehicle hard enough to trip the G-Force sensor a clip would be saved in an area on the memory card that won’t be overwritten. I have had my camera for just over three weeks, I left the camera in the car overnight a few times and all I got was twelve hours worth of one minute clips showing nothing but my driveway and garage door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is not a “Low Light” camera. I have had mine for about three weeks now, took it on a 3000 mile road trip with quite a bit of nighttime driving. The nighttime clips only show what the headlights illuminate, and not very well. I am not very happy with the camera, had to exchange the first one because it kept locking up, and the replacement wasn’t any better. Overall I would only give this camera 2 or 3 out of 5 stars, for many other reasons than just the nighttime video quality.
