“Can the camera record at night, with the car off ?”

• MODEL DCCAM: The cam battery is only good for 30 minutes. If you are running off the cig. lighter and the power is on once your key is out of the ignition, yes it can without using up your battery. I would not recommend it at night if you are away from your car. Someone might break your window and take the cam.

• it will record as long as it is turned on and the battery lasts. it won't give 24 hour recording unless it is powered by a source as external power. it is not intended to be a security camera.
