“My DCam has the date 2014/01/01 and the time is changing as the cam is on. I have hit menu button twice and the only thing that will change is the screen expanding to 4.0 and then back to the normal size. I have read the manual but it doesn't help. HELP!”

These cameras are junk. I went through two of them doing some of the same crazy stuff. Take it back or throw it in the garbage.
