I have had mine a few months now. As soon as I turn off my car, it turns off as well. It would be nice if it included a battery as well for parked times. What if someone hit the car when you were not there. Having it run while the car is off would be such a bonus.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not usually, it will only keep recording if it is plugged into a usb power source that does not power down. My Ford C-Max 12v port is only on for about 10minutes after the car shuts down.
