Yes you can. That’s the X band which is mirror sensors speed cameras to detect average hwy speeds as well as automatic doors at grocery stores.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have that problem of it picking up other detectors. Never heard of that... You need to read the manual and learn how to use this detector... There's a lot to learn with these new ones. This one has a lot of settings to mess with and there is a way to adjust the sensitivity. I love mine but I'm still waiting for the Police to try and catch me...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Uniden R3 comes with the ability to detect 3 different band waves. You have X bands, K bands, and Ka bands. X band, keep that off, unless you live in the country side of Ohio or Alaska, you don’t need it. K band and Ka band are what your modern day, everyday cops use to pick up your speed. Unless you live around a relatively wealthy area, and cops are only using Ka bands, you can keep K bands off. However, many places, even older police vehicles use K bands. There is a K band and Ka band filter, keeping K band on might help a little, if not, keep X and K band off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My detector goes off every time we come upon a Honda very annoying any suggestions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Read and understand the operator's manual, and watch on Youtube Vortex how to Videos. The R3 may not be the right detector for you, if you were expecting plug and play. If you want the horse to work for you, you will have to feed it and understand what type of food the horse likes. READ the Operator's Manual!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yea you can hook it up to your computer and set everything up that way... but in the end.... it doesn't even matter... i regret buying mine everyday.... ive owned 70 dollar radar detectors that work better than this one....
