Still extremely accurate after 3 years — worth every penny I purchased the Uniden R3BLK over three years ago and it’s still very accurate. The long-range detection is impressive and it consistently alerts well in advance, giving plenty of time to react. This detector has absolutely paid for itself over the years. The DSP filtering works great to reduce false alerts, and it’s been reliable in all types of driving. Build quality is solid and it continues to perform like new. If you’re on the fence because of the price, it’s 100% worth it. This is one of those purchases you don’t regret.

I love this radar, it works amazing. Best radar I have ever used and very easy to use. There is mute memory on it so if you consistently mute it from going off at certain places it will remember. It also looks good in the car. I’ve had it for a year now and I have never had any problems with using it. You can easily adjust the volume and it’s one of my favorite purchases. Definitely recommend if you’re looking into radars and worth the price rather than cheaping out on other options.

I am truly amazed how well the Uniden R3 performs. Prior to this I had an Escort Passport which also worked all. However, this was cheaper by almost $150 and the range is far more effective. Theyre both excellent devices but as I said Im shocked how this slaps. I get alerts way quicker and farther then before. The options are vast like several different display color options. There several other options but most radar have them i just feel the color option is a must have in addition to the screen dimming. Its like have a stealth mode at your leisure. Im currently in the market for another vehicle and im certain im gonna have a additinal device in that vehicle as well. Possibly the R4 if they just the price, but if they dont i have no problem picking up another for $300. I also compared this to the $800 redline and for under half the price of that this R3 can hang and even in some areas like range can out perform. I also picked up the direct power cord so i can be wired directly to my fusebox. I honestly love my setup and for the price point cant beat it. I recommend the Uniden R3 and glad I listened to my Brother Horace when he recommended the Uniden brand.

The range on this detector is great! I often get more than enough warning and when paired with Waze, you’re golden! The gps is great for locking out falses and now that I’ve driven around for a bit it almost never falses.

This is the second one I have purchased. The detector has very good features and response for the cost compared to other brands I have used. Good response range front and back of the vehicle. Programable features give you a wide variety of control of the display, alarms, and frequencies. Menus can be a little deep, but that gives you the broad range of controls.

Great radar detector detect cops up 2 miles away. I’ve never had any issues with. It has many customizable features on it as the best budget raider detector out there.

For the price and performance it really is a good. I have it mounted in my front windshield below my dash cam and it is excellent. It doesn’t interfere with anything and it doesn’t obstruct any viewing angles because of its small form factor.

Fantastic! We used this driving from California to the Carolinas and back and this radar detector was awesome. It picked up just about every police car unless they were not using their guns. We also used waze just to be aware of all conditions. I estimate this unit saved us about 5 tickets... I did find the Velcro is fine but its adhesive could not take all the road vibrations... I supported the unit with my sunglass case wedged underneath. We Highly recommend this radar detector.

Amazing range, multiple settings to customize including display color, display options, bands, sensitivity, etc. Not too many false alarms once you manually program gps automutes along your normal routes.

Love Love Love! Best radar detector out. Very easy to use. Tons of customs to fit your exact needs! Extremely easy installation. Detects EVERYTHING! Even cop radar from behind your vehicle while driving. 10/10, 5 Stars, I recommend to family, friends, even strangers. A necessity to have in your vehicle at all times, especially if you want to be alerted of the locations of speed traps!!! Also comes with a durable, sleek, storage case.

Pretty pleased coming from a 70 dollar cobra "radar detector" from autozone that the laser went off 24/7. Havent had a false read and picks up from a pretty good distance. 10/10 recommend.

It is really good radar detector. One recommendation - shut down X-band. Maybe K-band isn't usable too. Ka-band only you need. Sometimes detection reaches 2 miles before you will see the cops. Laser-band hasn't fals reactions, but if you see laser alerts you have to push the brake immediately.

I was looking for something with good range and price. I had just bought a new car and didn't want to transfer my old radar detector since it was 10 years old but still reliable. I've had this Uniden model for about a month and seems to work great. I've gotten Ka alerts from about 3/4 of a mile away. I liked about this one that didn't require an app subscription for additional alerts. Also could be updated on the computer for any red light cameras

It has one of the best ranges on the market. It has all the bells and whistles that you need with GPS and you mute the signals in your area that you want it to remember. I rarely ever get a false positive from other people’s car proximity sensors. Can’t recommend more. Has easily paid for itself. Blend mount and mirror tap for power sold separately but worth it.

Already, it has paid for itself in the first week, I waiteda few months before writing a review. Works fine but you still get the annoying beeps for everything else as well. Does have options to mute false alarms. I can't help but wonder if a $99 radar would be just as good? Ofcourse now there are even better Unidens Avail R7 and R8., Or if I should've got the Escort. Nice case that's just a little to big for it and it's accessories. So I use it to store my Sig. And car documents. The case barely fits in my glove box.

I was satisfied with my purchase, the detector came with a mount for a windshield and one for the dash. There are a lot of false alarms but I haven't taken the time to mark them as false alarms(i think you can do that and it won't alert you). When i say false alarms i mean ANY automatic doors on a building and it will also pick up on parking sensors on newer cars(it goes insane around a tesla) I mostly travel rural areas so its no big deal for me. While I would recommend this detector to most people, if you drive in the city/town a lot you will have a LOT of false alarms.

This got good reviews for a reason. The features are good. It detects a good long way, and the GPS feature is really nice. It was a deal of the day on Best Buy and definitely was a great deal.

out! With its impressive signal filtering and long-range detection, it's a game-changer on the road. The ability to identify multiple radar bands, regular updates, and user-friendly features make it a reliable companion for staying ahead of speed traps. Enhanced road safety at its finest
