• Cigarette lighter socket power cord comes with kit. Hard-wired with 6-8” of visible cord below the rear-view mirror is my setup, which works flawlessly.

• It looks ghetto with the coiled up wire hanging down to power it from the cigarette lighter, hardwire is always best.

• Its best to buy the "hardwired kit and have it installed directly to the fusebox for a cleaner look, but it also comes with a 12v adapter if your car has one.
