Yes I think it would work fine. It's a little too small for my 7" Tab. Be careful, the placement of the straps may cover your power switch and cause it to turn off without warning...

Yes, not many do and if they do they are really hard to find if you're not looking online. I was happy to finally get this at my local best buy.

Not familiar with the TabPro 8.4 but the Iconia 4 I have in it also appears to have an 8.4" screen and it fits in this case, Diagonal screen measurement on the Iconia is about 8.4" and it is about the same height; if the TabPro 8.4 is significantly taller (straight measurement, not diagonal) it might be too big to fit in the elastic corner straps.

It's meant for the iPad Air 2. There are holes that line up perfectly with the camera lens and microphone. Unless the dimensions of other generic tablets are exactly like the iPad Air 2, with the camera in the same exact position, then it's probably not going to work.

I dont think the surface pro type cover would fit the samsung tab pro because it needs magnets to fix it in plus the type cover is built more for the 11.6 inch cover.
