Sorry. I have this answer to the wrong problem above. I used weld putty. Mi x the grey and black together. I dragged the mixed putty across the holes where the ping goes through the ring until it was full. I let it set over night and now I have had this ring for 9 months. The gold is worn off but it still stands and turns freely

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I squeezed the pin thing back in with needle nose pliers and it is stable again. The pin got loose with use causing the ring to just flop around. It’s back to normal after pushing the pin back in
