What is the latency difference compared to wired? I've heard there is a delay in the audio when using a system like this. Has anyone measured the increase in latency when comparing to a quality wired solution?

I have had no delay or latency with mine. My left rear speaker is wired and my right one uses this device (have an archway that keeps me from wiring it, its on the 1st floor of a multi-story home). I haven't measured the difference directly but, I am unable to discern any noticeable latency in the sound between the two speakers. I didn't even have to change the distance for surround regulation. I'm not much of an audiophile as I primarily use it for movies and tv shows but, all of the action scene explosions and voice queues match up for the picture and sound over the 20ft distance I have setup.

According to the Rockfish Universal Rear Speaker Kit manual, there is a 15-20 ms Transmission delay from the wireless sender, AND a 15-20 ms Transmission delay on the receiver.
