But we also use the system for music, and I'd like to have speakers in another room. So I also set it up (as a trial ) in another room, and it works well there too. But I don't want to have to move it from one room to another when I'm listening to music instead of using surround sound for watching TV. Can I buy another Wireless rear kit and re-program the new receiver/ amplifier to match the one I have now, so I could add two more speakers in another room?”

Yes, I just did that. I have 2 units controlling speakers in 2 other rooms. I use it to stream music thru-out the house from Apple TV ( 3 rooms including the source room). Occasionally , I loose signal from one or the other, I am finding transmitter placement may be key. Not too close to one another. I was unable to use 1 transmitter for 2 receivers. One would pair or the other. This system is only 2 hours old, but its doing what I wanted!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since it is basically the same RF as WiFi (not bluetooth), I think you can pair up another receiver to it. The problem is that they don't sell them separately, so you have to buy a complete setup anyways.
