I am planning on getting a new Yamaha 5.1 receiver with built in Airplay and Wifi so I can use my Android Tablet to control the stereo through the Wifi... Won't this 2.4ghz only on this Rocketfish have problems with all of that?? Some friends tell me that you won't actually HEAR much difference in the speaker audio but that other devices might be forced to accept a much weaker signal and be handicapped by it...”

Yes you may experience interference from other devices if you use this in a small space. The maximum distance between the wireless sender and wireless receiver is 100 feet. Other devices such as cordless phones, microwaves, etc, may cause interference. If this is the case, then turn each device off one at a time to determine which one is the source of interference. Also make sure that the wireless sender is more than 18 inches away from any Wi-Fi routers.
