“I need to play videos saved on my laptop for work project. Do I just connect a usb cable from the laptop to the projector and that’s it? Does sound come from laptop or the projector if I don’t have a speaker to hook up? Thanks!”

• I mean if your using a laptop you would have to connect an HDMI cable If you want it to play out of the laptop speakers just change it in your laptop settings if not it will default to the projector speakers or whatever speaker you have set up to the projector

• Hi Ryguy, You will need an HMDI cable to connect your laptop to the projector since an USB cable can't transfer video. Once connected via HDMI, the sound will come out from the projector speaker.
