It does have a USB input that allows you to run movie files from a folder however, the easiest solution for this would be hooking your laptop up to the projector via HDMI. This would then project whatever is running for your computer screen through the projector allowing you to utilize your laptops controls to navigate through your PowerPoint presentation.

The projector 470 has a USB port, but it doesn't support opening PowerPoint files directly from a USB drive. You can connect a laptop to the projector via an HDMI cable and open your PowerPoint files. This way, your presentation will be displayed on the bigger screen. But please kindly note that the remote control cannot be used to navigate your connected laptop. Sorry for that inconvenience.
