• Yep, with an hdmi to mini USB converter I've put my android up there

• I use an HDMI adapter to my android based Samsung phone and it works well. But while used in that configuration you are not able to charge the phones battery, so be sure to have plenty of battery charge remaining or possibly use a wireless charger aswell.
