“I see from other answered questions here that the lumens and contrast ratio for this projector are 280 and 500:1 respectively. How do these numbers compare with the same specs for the Vankyo V630W? I’m trying to choose between the two projectors. Thanks.”

• Hi there, Thanks for asking. The V630W has 250 lumens and a contrast ratio of 600:1. While the 510PW has 280 lumens and a contrast ratio of 500:1.

• I don’t know about the exact lumens, but more would be better. This version needs to be in the dark to get a good image. Also, a higher quality screen would make a lot of difference. I am projecting smaller to get a sharper more colorful image. The T-shirt screen will work, probably fine for graphics, but for movies more lumens and a better screen would be a great improvement.
