I can't speak for this projector specifically but with all ultra short throw protectors you gave to physically move them closer or further from your screen or wall to change the size of the image. You want to avoid using the zoom function if at all possible (again I can't speak for this specific model do I don't know if it has zoom or not) because using zoom can greatly decrease the quality of the picture.
