does this work for 8mm cassettes? null

You can run a camcorder of any type through the converter.

I used it to transfer a camcorder video to a disc (my camcorder uses a tape called Hi8). It worked successfully with the Hi8. So I can't say for sure if it will or won't work with 8mm. However, from the way that this device works, it looks to me that it most likely would work for 8mm also.
