“I recorded 3 tapes and it worked about 5 minutes into tape 4 the video went fuzzy and the sound was good. When I fast forward I can see the video. Put in a tape I successfully recorded and it is now fuzzy. Cleaning heads did not fix. Now all tapes fuzz”

It sounds like it may be an issue with the video signal strength coming from the player - fast forward is also a large burst of video information being pushed through. If using an automatic tape head cleaner, try running it a few more times. If it still does not work, test whether a digital video source, such as a DVD player, connected through the product exhibits the same behavior.
