This happened to me - problem was i had plugged the usb into a different port to usual. Always use the one you used hwen installing the hardware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are using a VCR make sure you check the playback speed. I set my VCR to SP mode and have had no problems. If the speed is in a different mode it may cause the slow motion image on the preview screen. Hope this helps.

Please make sure you are not running other processor intensive applications to reduce the burden on the CPU. 2. You may also want to try another USB port on your Mac. You will want to use a direct port on the Mac, not an extension cable or USB hub. 3. On the chance it is an issue with the software performance, please also try installing the latest version of the application from the VIDBOX site.
