RW discs are designed for "data storage" use where you may want to add or subtract data from time to time. Think of them as a flat USB stick. Many DVD players are not designed to read the RW format. If your DVD player is older that is likely the reason. Find the owner guide for your DVD player model to see which format DVD discs it handles. It may even be printed on the unit somewhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We would recommend testing the playback of the DVD on the computer it was burned with to verify if the contents have burned correctly. Please also note that DVD burning is only supported by the Windows software in this package, so if you burned with your Mac, you may have created a data disc that does not work in DVD players, even if they support playback of that DVD format.
